Ford Edge

Ford Edge is a stylish yet superb Ford crossover utility vehicle. Its elegant and functional interior design and the best-in-class 2nd-row legroom that makes passengers feel absolute comfort while on the road. A panoramic vista roof features a wide panel that tilts forward up or can be opened fully. Lighting wise, you can choose what type fits your mood with its seven-color ambient lighting that is programmable.

The outside of Ford Edge is composed of a bold front end that has a 3-bar grille as well as projector beam halogen headlamps, a rear with polished 4-inch exhaust tips, tail lamps and spoiler.  It also has several wheel line-ups that you could choose from such as the 17″ aluminum wheels, 18″ painted aluminum wheels, 18″ chrome-clad wheels, 20″ premium aluminum chrome-clad wheels, and 22″ aluminum wheels.

The Ford Edge Sports has a bolder design that fits its sport-tuned suspension and 3.7L Ti-VCT V6 engine. It has a polished 22” aluminum wheels with tuxedo black accents and grille, color-keyed rear lower and front fascias, rocker moldings as well as side cladding. The interior consists of leather seats with a touch of silver smoke metallic seat inserts, high-gloss black center stack finish, instrumental panel, and accelerator covers and aluminum brake. Both have HID headlamps that give off a brighter and whiter light.  

Ford Edge is available with the industry-first MyFord Touch that lets you use touch control and voice commands to interact with your vehicle. Ford SYNC is a connectivity system provided in Ford Edge to pair your Bluetooth enabled phone and other devices so you could utilize them.  Ford Edge has a versatile and flexible interior that is functional for carrying cargo. It has a fold-flat passenger seat back that allows in transporting objects that are up to 8 feet long.  The towing power is also a plus for it can tow trail 3500 lbs with control. It has rain-sensing front wipers too.

The 3.5L V6 engine with Ti-VCT of Ford Edge delivers 285 horse power and fuel economy while you can get the maximum  from Ford Edge Sports that is powered by a 3.7L Ti-VCT V6  that provides 305 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft of torque. For a more enhanced driving, Ford Edge can be equipped with All-Wheel Drive that doesn’t just react to slippage but also predicts traction and delivers automatically a proper and precise amount of engine torque when slippage is detected.

America’s best selling Ford trucks have made few changes for this year’s model of new engines particularly with F-series. Though this year’s model doesn’t have that many changes since last year but the quality was still on top of the line. The Ford F-150 can drag more cargo compared to the truck from its competitor, it can tow heavier trail as well. F-150 has the strongest fully boxed frame and is designed for heavier and difficult tasks that you can expect dependability from this full-sized pickup truck. It comes with the New EcoBoost engine, 3.7L V6, 5.0L V8, and 6.2L V8.
Ford Ranger is one of the Ford Trucks considered to be the best-in-class fuel economy. It has 207 horsepower and with 238 lb.-ft of torque. It can tow trails of up to 5,800 lbs. Ford Focus ST 300x220 Euro 5 Emissions Kill Ford Focus STFor years now ever increasing emissions standards have been killing off a slew of cars that many of us would have loved to have a chance to drive, and recently these standards have killed off yet another model. The Euro-only current generation Ford Focus ST will no longer be built due to a recent increase in the Euro 5 emissions standards. The ST model came equipped with a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, an engine which will now be retired. The model put out a whopping 225 horsepower, and in 2008 Ford worked together with Mountune Racing to release an upgrade kit that raised the horsepower to 260. Its small size and incredible horsepower numbers made the Ford Focus ST an incredibly fast and fun car for a great price.

The Euro 5 emissions have also recently killed off the Honda Civic Type-R and the Alfa Brera. As countries become more and more concerned about our vehicles emissions it will be much harder for automakers to build small and fast cars for a reasonable price. The Ford Motor is rumored to be introducing a replacement for the Focus ST model at the Paris Motor Show later this year, but it is expected to come with less horsepower than the recently axed model.

Ford has got you covered with their new Ford Racing supercharger kits. Instead of just letting aftermarket auto tuners sell supercharger kits for their cars, Ford has decided to get into the game themselves.
Ford used the Woodward Dream Cruise weekend to introduce the new 2012 Ford Mustang Boss and three new Whipple-built supercharger kits. The first kit can raise the horsepower of a new 2011 Mustang GT from 412 to 525. The second kit adds an extra component and increases the supercharger from 7 psi to 9 psi giving the car an ungodly 624 horsepower. For those clients who wish to choose their own performance shop to tune and install the supercharger kid Ford offers a third option called the “Tuner kit.” The 525 horsepower kit will go for $7,199 and the 624 horsepower kit will go for just $600 more. The first two supercharger kits still allow the car to be street legal in all 50 states.

Selling their own performance packages is another great way for the Ford Motor Company to increase profits. Every year people spend millions of dollars on aftermarket parts for their cars, so it makes perfect business sense for the company to get into the lucrative market themselves. One great thing about buying these supercharger kits from Ford is that you know the company has done everything they can to make the kits completely safe and reliable for their cars. If you are looking to supercharge your Ford Mustang I would definitely recommend taking a look at what Ford has to offer before you look elsewhere.

Graphics started to come back in style when the new Mini Cooper began offering creative roof graphics and it has been steadily growing in popularity among other car owners ever since. Graphics are a fun way to make you car more personal and different from the thousands of other cars out there. The fact is that the Ford Mustang is a great car which means that it is very popular among American consumers. It can be tiresome to see the same car over and over again, but by introducing unique graphics Ford is allowing themselves to allow customers to feel much better about their cars.

The graphic styles in the new Ford program range from simple hood stripes to and colors to a carbon-fiber look material and a “clear hood” graphic. The “clear hood” graphic is meant to give people a glimpse at what the engine bay looks like without actually having to open the hood itself. It beautifully showcases the design of the monstrous 5 liter engine of the 2011 Mustang Gt model.

The vinyl graphic packages start at around $299, but depending on what you choose they can easily exceed $1,000. This of course is a small price to pay to make your car stand out from the rest. Some people are speculating the vinyl graphic packages will soon become available for the Ford Taurus sometime in the near future.

Ford Romania Plant 300x199 Ford to Increase Investment in Romania‏Romania is the second-poorest country in the European Union, and it hasn’t really been known to have a high production value in the automotive industry. That may soon change as the Ford Motor Company has announced that it will boost its production numbers within the country over the next few years.

Romania is important because it is strategically located near economies that are currently seeing a massive increase in new-car demand. One of those countries is Russia and many believe that the demand for new-cars in Russia will soon rival the demand of China, a country where most automotive companies are currently focusing their expansion efforts. This new investment from the Ford Motor Company couldn’t come at a better time as Romania is currently trying to recover from its worst recession on record. A growth in manufacturing and automotive exports could make a dramatic difference in the country’s economy if everything goes to plan.

Their is no word on whether or not Ford plans on building other models in Romania or on the amount of investment the company is planning. The company will likely ship its cars off to nearby countries such as Russia where demand is poised to grow significantly over the next decade as their economy grows stronger. Renault SA is also expected to increase their current production capacity within Romania as well.
