The year 2009 was a great here for Ford rebates but the outlook may be different for 2010. As Ford reduces production to meet demand there will be less of a reason for the company to offer rebate incentives on their cars. In the last quarter of 2009 average transactions for automakers grew by 5% in comparison to the first quarter. Rebates might become especially hard to find for models like the Ford Escape and Ford Fusion as they are justly among the hottest vehicles in todays market. Rebates for the Toyota Venza, Toyota 4Runner and the Toyota Highlander may also be scarce as they are among the hardest vehicles to find in the market. As carmakers begin to increase production this year there is the possibility that more rebates may appear if sales do not match. While there may be no incentives available for some car be sure to watch out for large tax incentives on cars such as the Ford Fusion Hybrid.
